Research & Development Engineer

Job Description:

As a Research & Development Engineer at Rhosigma Engineering, you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving the conceptualization, design, and development of new electronic products and technologies. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to research emerging trends, explore new technologies, and develop novel solutions to complex engineering challenges. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting research and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for new product development.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and milestones.
• Designing and prototyping electronic circuits, systems, and components.
• Conducting experiments and tests to evaluate the performance and functionality of new technologies and products.
• Analyzing data and results to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Developing and documenting design specifications, procedures, and standards.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes.

Additional Information:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong background in research methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence) and simulation tools.
• Experience with prototype development and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
